What we typically carry
Shade, conifer, fruit, ornamental and grafted trees, plus shrubs, perennials and ornamental grasses. Species change through the year, so call if you don't see it.
How much do you need?
Enter your bed size and we'll work out the cubic yards. Pick it up on State Rd 9 or have us deliver it.

We're a family business on State Rd 9, not a franchise. Jarod & Lori have been growing, selling and planting for Whitley County for 20 years, and the plants in your yard come from our own rows.
We design your landscape in person: a consult with Jarod & Lori, sized to your yard and budget
We hold most plants a full year in our growing facility, all grown in the same climate zone as your yard

Yes. We offer delivery and planting services for the materials and plants you buy from us. Call (260) 248-2700 with your address and how much you need, and we'll give you a delivery quote.
What are your hours?
April through June: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm. July through October: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm. November: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm. December through March we're open by appointment. We're closed Sundays, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and from Thanksgiving week through winter.
Can I design my own landscape with your help?
Yes. Call to set up an appointment with Jarod or Lori and they'll help you plan it. Every material in your design is on our lot, so you can see the plants and stone in person before you buy.
Do you sell wholesale to contractors?
Yes. JB Landscape & Nursery is a wholesale and retail nursery. Contractors and landscapers can call (260) 248-2700 to set up wholesale purchasing.
What mulch and stone do you carry?
Mulch in brown hardwood, black hardwood, gold and red. River rock in #1, #5c and #8, limestone in #9, #12, #53 and #73, and gray slate. We also carry topsoil, a topsoil and compost mix, and sand.
What sizes do your shrubs and perennials come in?
Shrubs come in 3, 5 and 10 gallon containers. Perennials come in 1, 2 and 3 gallon containers. Prices depend on the size and species, and availability changes with the season.
Are your plants grown locally?
Our nursery is stocked with plants grown in the same climate zone as Northeast Indiana, and most are held in our growing facility for a full year before they're sold.
Do you rent storage units?
Yes. We have 10×10 and 10×20 storage units available month to month at our State Rd 9 location. Call (260) 248-2700 for availability.
